Benefits

·          Natural looking alternative to roman, roller and wooden venetian blinds.

·          Manufactured with a wooden bottom bar to provide weighting for the wood weave. Colour is complimentary to the shade of wood chosen.

·          Pulls up out of the way to give open space in the window. Most weaves stack as small as 250mm in depth at the top of the window.

·          Edge binding blend s with the shade of wood chosen, or an alternative contrasting colour can be chosen.

·          All blinds are provided with a sculptured headrail, hidden brackets and a pelmet flap as standard.

·          Available as a roman style, or roll-up style to suit your taste.

Product Options

·          Brass toggles instead of wooden ones can be chosen

Control Options

·          Right hand control – pull cords will be on the right

·          Left hand control – pull cords will be on the left

Bracket Options

·          The woodweave blind is available only with one type bracket, which is suitable for either face or top fixing. The recommended screw size is either a no.6 or no.8.

Limitations

·          Maximum and Minimum Sizes

o         The minimum recommended width is 200mm. The maximum is dependant upon the width of the woven fabric.  It is usually 2000mm. 

o         The maximum drop is 2400mm.

·          Wood is a natural product, and warping of timber is expected to take place. It is not really apparent on most weaves, and certainly adds to the natural look of the blind

·          Wood is a natural product. Grain patterns and colour shades will be different across the blind, as with any wooden furniture product.

·          The widths of blinds are made to a tolerance of 3mm, and the drops are made to a tolerance of 5mm. Therefore, blinds that are positioned next to each other may show a slight difference in height even though they have been ordered at the same drop.

·          Weaves can be ordered without edging tape, however, it’s not recommended and the woven fabric called Barbuda and Dakar MUST be edged.

·          All Grassweave and bamboos from the Java collection, plus the woven fabrics Agadir and Dakar should only be made as roman style for blinds under 500mm wide. Also, on wider blinds, there will be a slight drooping/bowing effect due to the weight and open weaves of these fabrics. Colour variation and fading will occur overtime if exposed to strong sunlight.

Suitable Areas

o         Tightly woven shades will help provide an 80% blackout effect if there are no other curtains in the windows.

o         Not suitable where the blind will get splashed repeatedly, since the lacquer finish on the wood may react badly to strong detergents.

o         Not suitable for areas where there is excessive moisture, or where the blind will get splashed.
