This range is part of our Deluxe collection of blinds. Every one is hand made, with special care taken to ensure that even the small details of each blind is carefully considered.

Our in-house vertical blinds are manufactured using a strong wide-bodied aluminium headrail. We use the wide tracking rather than the slim for a number of reasons:

1. Each runner inside the track has friction reducing wheels for smoother operation. Over time, dust tends to affect the operation of the slim tracks; but not our wide bodied tracks!
2. For longer tracks, our wide body system is more rigid, and will have a smoother operation. Also, our track won't bend when you have to try and lift it from one side.
3. The gearbox on a wide-bodied track is 'planetary', which means that it has a gear cogs to makes the tilting of the blind smoother and more controllable. Slim tracks have a 'direct-drive', which means they don't have a gear cog system. Instead, when you pull the tilt chain the louvres turn quite aggressively..... very crude.
