We try really hard to make sure that what you see on screen is the best representation of the actual colourway you are choosing, and
most of the time we do quite well. If you are looking for a specific colour though, we would advise you to order a sample first.
We offer you free samples* delivered to your door, so that you can see what you are buying before placing your order.
Just follow the simple steps below to see how you go about ordering your samples.
Step One
Having chosen the type of product you wish to browse, continue to click through to the fabric you are interested in.
Step Two
When you arrive at the pricing page, you will know a sample is available because a button marked REQUEST SAMPLE
will be shown. Click the button to request your sample. It will be added to your shopping basket, and a message
to confirm the order will appear on the screen.
Step Three
To see which samples you have ordered, click the SHOPPING BASKET link at the top of the page. You will be taken to the
shopping basket page. Here you can delete samples, or proceed to order them. From here, follow the on-screen instructions.
NOTE ABOUT VELUX SAMPLES
Regrettably, as of 1st January 2010, VELUX took a decision to charge all authorised dealers £4 every time a colour
sample was requested. We find this to be sickening, especially as VELUX have serious competition from other companies who make blinds for VELUX
windows now. For this reason, we will no longer offer VELUX samples, as we do not feel justified in passing these costs on to you.
Instead, we will be offering colour match references to Dulux paint colours, as we believe most consumers use their high quality paint,
and often have access to the Dulux colour charts. We will make an effort to reference these colours over the next couple of months.
* Depending on the supplier for the particular sample you are requesting, there may be a limit on the number of samples you can
order without having to pay a nominal fee.
